PUBLIC NOTICE 1999-166-1
Revised Lists of Eligible Satellite Services
In Public Notice CRTC 1999-166 released on October 5, 1999, the Commission issued revised lists of eligible satellite services (the lists).
A reference to America's Heath Network was inadvertently omitted from the List of Part 2 Eligible Satellite Services. In addition, it has been brought to the Commission's attention that America's Health Network and Fit TV, which also appears on the lists, have merged under the name of The Health Network.

Western Canada and Territories Region

To amend the broadcasting licences for CBW and CBW-FM Winnipeg and CKSB St. Boniface, Manitoba, as follows:

The licensee indicated that the old transmitting antenna system will be replaced by a multi-channel antenna system which will combine the three existing FM channels in Brandon. This will modify the effective radiated power. Coverage will remain the same for CBWS-FM but will slightly be increased for CBWV-FM and CKSB-8-FM.
2. Swan River, Manitoba
Native Communication Inc.
To amend the broadcasting licence for CINC-FM Thompson, Manitoba. The licensee proposes to add a transmitter at Swan River operating on the frequency 93.3 MHz (channel 227A1) with an effective radiated power of 250 watts.
3. La Ronge, Saskatchewan
Cable Ronge Inc.
The licensee requests authority to add the distribution of CFMI-FM Vancouver, British Columbia, on the frequency 101.1 MHz (channel 266LP), with a transmitter power of 11.7 watts. This change requires an amendment to the licence.

To amend the broadcasting licence of the French-language radio programming undertaking CBFX-FM Montréal. The CBC proposes to add an FM stereo transmitter at Campbellton, operating on frequency 88.9 MHz (channel 205C1) with an effective radiated power of 10 000 watts.

NORTHWEST TERRITORIES WATERS ACT
Diavik Diamond Mines Inc. has made an application to the Northwest Territories Water Board for a licence for water use and waste disposal for mining and milling purposes at its Diavik Mine, Northwest Territories.
A public hearing on the application will be held, under subsection 21(1) of the Northwest Territories Waters Act, by the Board on November 29 and 30, 1999, in the Explorer Hotel at Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, commencing at 9:30 a.m.
Written briefs on behalf of or against this application must be submitted to the Office of the Board by 4 p.m., November 19, 1999. If no notice is received of persons indicating their intention to appear and make presentations concerning this application by 4 p.m., November 19, 1999, and the applicant consents in writing to the disposition of the matter without a public hearing, the Board may cancel the hearing in accordance with subsection 21(3) of the Act.
In the event that the environmental assessment of this project required by the Canadian Assessment Act has not been completed and a course of action has not been taken under paragraph 37(1)(a) of that Act by the hearing date, the Board may decide not to proceed with the scheduled hearing.
