LETTERS PATENT OF CONTINUANCE

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to subsection 24(2) of the Trust and Loan Companies Act, that Community Trust Company Ltd. intends to apply to the Minister of Finance, on or after May 5, 2004, for the issuance of letters patent continuing it as a trust company under the Trust and Loan Companies Act with the name Community Trust Company, in English, and Société de Fiducie Community, in French.

Any person who objects to the issuance of these letters patent of continuance may submit the objection in writing to the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, on or before May 4, 2004.
