Withdrawal of By-election Writ — Electoral District of Ottawa Centre

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 551 of the Canada Elections Act (S.C. 2000, c. 9), that the writ issued on March 7, 2004, for a federal by-election to be held in the electoral district of Ottawa Centre on November 29, 2004, is deemed to have been superseded and withdrawn under subsection 31(3) of the Parliament of Canada Act, therefore cancelling the said by-election.
