Notice is hereby given, pursuant to subsection 525(2) of the Bank Act, that Allied Irish Banks, p.l.c., a foreign bank with its head office in Dublin, Ireland, intends to apply to the Minister of Finance for an order permitting it to establish a lending foreign bank branch in Canada to carry on the business of banking.
