Order Amending General Import Permit No. 14 — Margarine for Personal Use

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, pursuant to section 10 (see footnote a) of the Export and Import Permits Act, hereby makes the annexed Order Amending General Import Permit No. 14 — Margarine for Personal Use.

ORDER AMENDING GENERAL IMPORT PERMIT
NO. 14 — MARGARINE FOR PERSONAL USE

AMENDMENT

1. Section 2 (see footnote 1) of the General Import Permit No. 14 — Margarine for Personal Use (see footnote 2) is replaced by the following:

2. In this Permit, "margarine" means margarine (excluding liquid margarine) and substitutes for butter, that are classified under tariff item No. 1517.10.10 or 1517.90.21 or under heading No. 98.04 or 98.26 in the List of Tariff Provisions set out in the schedule to the Customs Tariff." (margarine)

COMING INTO FORCE

2. This Order comes into force on January 1, 1998.
