Order Amending the Privacy Act Heads of Government Institutions Designation Order

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition "head" in section 3 of the Privacy Act, hereby makes the annexed Order Amending the Privacy Act Heads of Government Institutions Designation Order.

ORDER AMENDING THE PRIVACY ACT HEADS OF GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS DESIGNATION ORDER

AMENDMENTS

1. The schedule to the French version of the Privacy Act Heads of Government Institutions Designation Order (see footnote 1) is amended by adding the following after item 25.1:

2. The schedule to the English version of the Order is amended by adding the following after item 45:

COMING INTO FORCE

3. This Order comes into force on July 5, 2000.
