PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT ACT

Order Designating the Canadian Firearms Centre as a Department and the Commissioner of Firearms as Deputy Head

P.C. 2003-794 29 May, 2003

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby

• (a) pursuant to the definition "department" in subsection 2(1) of the Public Service Employment Act, designates the Canadian Firearms Centre as a department for the purpose of that Act;
  (b) pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition "deputy head" in subsection 2(1) of that Act, designates the Commissioner of Firearms as the deputy head of the Canadian Firearms Centre for the purpose of that Act; and
  (c) revokes Order-in-Council P.C. 2003-560 of April 11, 2003 (see footnote a) ,

effective May 30, 2003.
