Order Amending the Saskatchewan Pulse Crop Marketing Levies (Interprovincial and Export) Order

The Saskatchewan Pulse Crop Development Board, pursuant to section 4 of the Saskatchewan Pulse Crop Order (see footnote a), hereby makes the annexed Order Amending the Saskatchewan Pulse Crop Marketing Levies (Interprovincial and Export) Order.

ORDER AMENDING THE SASKATCHEWAN PULSE
CROP MARKETING LEVIES (INTERPROVINCIAL
AND EXPORT) ORDER

AMENDMENT

1. Subsection 3(1) of the Saskatchewan Pulse Crop Marketing Levies (Interprovincial and Export) Order (see footnote 1) is replaced by the following:

3. (1) Each buyer, assembler or processor who buys, assembles or processes pulse crops shall deduct a levy of one per cent of the gross value of pulse crops that are marketed in interprovincial and export trade from any payments made to producers.

COMING INTO FORCE

2. This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order.)

The Order increases from one half of one per cent to one per cent the levy deducted on the gross value of the pulse crop produced in the Province of Saskatchewan and marketed in interprovincial and export trade.
