Order Amending Schedule I to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health, pursuant to section 60 of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (see footnote a), deeming that it is necessary in the public interest, hereby makes the annexed Order Amending Schedule I to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

ORDER AMENDING SCHEDULE I TO THE CONTROLLED DRUGS AND SUBSTANCES ACT

AMENDMENT

1. Item 14 of Schedule I to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (see footnote 1) is replaced by the following:

14. Phencyclidine (1-(1-phenylcyclohexyl)piperidine), its salts, derivatives and analogues and salts of derivatives and analogues, including:

(1) Ketamine (2-(2-chlorophenyl)-2-(methylamino)cyclohexanone)

COMING INTO FORCE

2. This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
