Regulations Amending the Narcotic Control Regulations

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Health, pursuant to subsection 55(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (see footnote a), hereby makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Narcotic Control Regulations.

REGULATIONS AMENDING THE NARCOTIC CONTROL REGULATIONS

AMENDMENT

1. Item 14 of the schedule to the Narcotic Control Regulations (see footnote 1) is replaced by the following:

14. Phencyclidine (1-(1-phenylcyclohexyl)piperidine), its salts, derivatives and analogues and salts of derivatives and analogues, including:

(1) Ketamine (2-(2-chlorophenyl)-2-(methylamino)cyclohexanone)

COMING INTO FORCE

2. These Regulations come into force on the day on which they are registered.
