LETTERS PATENT OF CONTINUANCE

Notice is hereby given that Canadian Home Income Plan Corporation intends to apply to the Minister of Finance, pursuant to subsection 33(1) of the Bank Act, for letters patent continuing Canadian Home Income Plan Corporation, a corporation incorporated under the Canada Business Corporations Act, as a bank under the Bank Act.

The bank will carry on business in Canada under the name HomEquity Bank, in the English form, and Banque HomEquity, in the French form.

Any person who objects to the issuance of these letters patent may submit an objection in writing to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, on or before April 6, 2009.
