This day at 5:30 p.m., Her Excellency the Governor General proceeded to the Chamber of the Senate, in the Parliament Buildings, and took her seat at the foot of the Throne. The Members of the Senate being assembled, Her Excellency the Governor General was pleased to command the attendance of the House of Commons, and that House being present, the following Bill was assented to in Her Majesty’s name by Her Excellency the Governor General:

An Act for granting to Her Majesty certain sums of money for the federal public administration for the financial year ending March 31, 2009
