Notice is hereby given, pursuant to subsection 24(2) of the Trust and Loan Companies Act, that Central 1 Credit Union intends to apply to the Minister of Finance for letters patent of incorporation incorporating a trust company under the Act. The company will carry on business under the name Central 1 Trust Company / Société de fiducie Central 1 and its head office will be located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Central 1 Credit Union is incorporated in the province of British Columbia and certified under Part XVI of the Cooperative Credit Associations Act (Canada), S.C. 1991, c. 48. Its principal business is providing wholesale financial services to credit unions.
Any person who objects to the proposed incorporation may submit an objection in writing to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, on or before May 10, 2010.
