B2B TRUST

LETTERS PATENT OF CONTINUANCE

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to subsection 34(1) of the Bank Act (Canada) that B2B Trust, a body corporate governed by the Trust and Loan Companies Act (Canada) and a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank of Canada, intends to file with the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, on or after July 21, 2010, an application for the Minister of Finance to issue letters patent continuing B2B Trust as a bank, under the name B2B Bank, to carry on banking activities in Canada. Its head office will be located in Toronto, Ontario.

Any person who objects to the proposed continuation may submit an objection in writing to the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions, 255 Albert Street, Ottawa, Ontario K1A 0H2, on or before July 20, 2010.

Note: The publication of this Notice should not be construed as evidence that letters patent will be issued to continue the body corporate as a bank. The granting of the letters patent will be dependent upon the normal Bank Act (Canada) application review process and discretion of the Minister of Finance.

The Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Small Craft Harbours Branch, hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Small Craft Harbours Branch, has deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and at the town office in La Scie, in the federal electoral district of Humber—St. Barbe—Baie Verte, Newfoundland and Labrador, under deposit No. 8200-04-1159, a description of the site and plans for three additional floating docks each measuring 2.7 m wide by 16.5 m long, to be located at the Small Craft Harbours Branch facilities in the town of La Scie, Baie Verte Peninsula, Newfoundland and Labrador, at coordinates 49°57′33″ N and 55°36′07″ W.

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Superintendent, Navigable Waters Protection Program, Transport Canada, P.O. Box 1300, St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador A1C 6H8. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of this notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.
