The Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Oceans and Science Branch, hereby gives notice that an application has been made to the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities under the Navigable Waters Protection Act for approval of the plans and site of the work described herein. Under section 9 of the said Act, the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Oceans and Science Branch, has deposited with the Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and in the office of the District Registrar of the Land Registry District of Cumberland County, at Amherst, Nova Scotia, under deposit No. 99865751, a description of the site and plans of a fish monitoring rotary screw trap in the Philip River (Cumberland County), downstream of Calf Pool, chart No. 11-E-12 (Oxford) WGS-84, at 45°44′12″ north latitude and 63°51′33″ west longitude.

Comments regarding the effect of this work on marine navigation may be directed to the Manager, Navigable Waters Protection Program, Transport Canada, P.O. Box 1013, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia B2Y 4K2. However, comments will be considered only if they are in writing and are received not later than 30 days after the date of publication of the last notice. Although all comments conforming to the above will be considered, no individual response will be sent.
