Permission and leave granted (Kit, Kevin)

The Auditor General of Canada, pursuant to section 116 of the Public Service Employment Act and subsection 15(3) of the Auditor General Act, hereby gives notice that he has granted permission, pursuant to subsection 115(2) of the Public Service Employment Act, to Kevin Kit, Audit Project Leader, Performance Audit, Office of the Auditor General of Canada, to seek nomination as, and be, a candidate, before and during the election period, for the position of Councillor, Ward 18, for the City of Ottawa, Ontario, in a municipal election to be held on October 22, 2018.

The Auditor General of Canada, pursuant to subsection 114(5) of the Public Service Employment Act, has also granted a leave of absence without pay during the election period, effective April 4, 2018.
