TSAWWASSEN FIRST NATION FINAL AGREEMENT ACT

Order Fixing April 3, 2009 as the Date of the Coming into Force of the Act

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, pursuant to section 33 of the Tsawwassen First Nation Final Agreement Act, chapter 32 of the Statutes of Canada, 2008, hereby fixes April 3, 2009 as the day on which that Act comes into force, other than sections 19, 31 and 32, which came into force on assent.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order.)

The Order fixes April 3, 2009 as the day on which the Tsawwassen First Nation Final Agreement Act (the “Act”) comes into force, other than sections 19, 31 and 32, which came into force on assent.

The Act gives effect to the Tsawwassen First Nation Final Agreement. It also makes consequential amendments to other Acts.
