PUBLIC SERVICE REARRANGEMENT AND TRANSFER OF DUTIES ACT

Order Transferring from the Department of Finance to the Treasury Board the Control and Supervision of Certain Portions of the Federal Public Administration

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) (see footnote a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act (see footnote b), hereby transfers from the Department of Finance to the Treasury Board the control and supervision of the following portions of the federal public administration in the Department of Finance:

(a) the portion known as Treasury Board Secretariat Dedicated Services in the Human Resources Division;

(b) the portion known as Shared Services in the Human Resources Division;

(c) the portion known as Treasury Board Secretariat Dedicated Services in the Financial Management Directorate;

(d) the portion known as Shared Services in the Financial Management Directorate;

(e) the portion known as Shared Services in the Information Management and Technology Directorate;

(f) the portion known as Treasury Board Secretariat Dedicated Services in the Administration Directorate;

(g) the portion known as Shared Services in the Administration Directorate;

(h) the portion known as Treasury Board Secretariat Dedicated Internal Audit and Evaluation Services; and

(i) the portion known as Assistant Secretary’s Office, Corporate Services Branch,

effective February 1, 2009.
