PUBLIC SERVICE EMPLOYMENT ACT

Order Designating the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario as a Department and the President as Deputy Head for Purposes of the Act

P.C. 2009-1415 August 13, 2009

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby

(a) pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition “department” in subsection 2(1) of the Public Service Employment Act (see footnote a), designates the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario as a department for the purposes of that Act; and

(b) pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition “deputy head” in subsection 2(1) of the Public Service Employment Act (see footnote b), designates the President of the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario as the deputy head of that Agency for the purposes of that Act,

effective August 13, 2009.
