FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION ACT

Order Amending Schedule I.1 to the Financial Administration Act

Whereas the Governor in Council considers it appropriate that the Office of the Director General, Southern Ontario Regional Economic Development Branch, in the Department of Industry, be added to Schedule I.1 to the Financial Administration Act (see footnote a) as a department for the purposes of that Act, to be known as the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 3(1)(a) (see footnote b) of the Financial Administration Act (see footnote c), hereby makes the annexed Order Amending Schedule I.1 to the Financial Administration Act.

ORDER AMENDING SCHEDULE I.1 TO THE FINANCIAL ADMINISTRATION ACT

AMENDMENT

1. Schedule I.1 to the Financial Administration Act (see footnote 1) is amended by adding the following in alphabetical order:

COMING INTO FORCE

2. This Order comes into force on August 13, 2009.
