METHOD OF COLLECTION
4. The producer shall pay all levies payable under section 3 to the Commodity Board at its headquarters in Sherbrooke, Quebec, within the time limits set out in the applicable Regulations referred to in that section.
COMING INTO FORCE
4. This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order.)
The Order is being made in accordance with a request received from the Standing Joint Committee for the Scrutiny of Regulations regarding the inconsistency between the French term “commerce d’exportation”, used in the Quebec Wood Order, 1983, and the French term “marché international” used in the Eastern Townships Wood Producers’ Levies (Interprovincial and Export Trade) Order. The amendment also corrects the translation of the name of the Plan and the English translation of the name of the Commodity Board, neither of which have an official translation. Finally, the location of the head office has been changed from Longueuil to Sherbrooke, Quebec.
