Order Terminating the Assignment of the Honourable Keith Ashfield and Assigning the Honourable Keith Ashfield to Assist the Minister of Transport

P.C. 2010-83 January 19, 2010

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 11 (see footnote a) of the Ministries and Ministers of State Act (see footnote b), hereby

(a) terminates the assignment of the Honourable Keith Ashfield, made by Order in Council P.C. 2008-1721 of October 30, 2008 (see footnote c), and

(b) assigns the Honourable Keith Ashfield, a Minister of State, to be styled Minister for the Atlantic Gateway, to assist the Minister of Transport in the carrying out of that Minister’s responsibilities,

effective January 19, 2010.
