SEX OFFENDER INFORMATION REGISTRATION ACT
Regulations Amending the British Columbia Sex Offender Information Registration Regulations
The Lieutenant Governor in Council of British Columbia, pursuant to subsection 18(1) (see footnote a) of the Sex Offender Information Registration Act (see footnote b), S.C. 2004, c. 10, hereby makes the annexed Regulations Amending the British Columbia Sex Offender Information Registration Regulations.

AMENDMENTS
1. Section 5 of the British Columbia Sex Offender Information Registration Regulations (see footnote 1) is replaced by the following:
5. (1) The places set out in the schedule are designated as registration centres in the Province of British Columbia.
(2) The designated area of service of each registration centre is the entire Province of British Columbia.
2. The schedule to the Regulations is replaced by the schedule set out in the schedule to these Regulations.
COMING INTO FORCE
3. These Regulations come into force on the day on which they are registered.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Regulations.)
The Regulations amend the regulations that designate registration centres for sex offenders in the Province of British Columbia. With these amendments, each registration centre will now serve the whole area of the Province. These amendments also add to the number of registration centres that are designated in British Columbia, as well as providing a street address for each registration centre.
