CANADIAN ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT, 1999

ARCHIVED — Order 2011-66-02-01 Amending the Domestic Substances List

Whereas the Minister of the Environment is satisfied that the substances referred to in the annexed Order were, between January 1, 1984 and December 31, 1986, manufactured in or imported into Canada by any person in a quantity of not less than 100 kg in any one calendar year, meeting the requirement set out in paragraph 66(1)(a) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (see footnote a);

And whereas the Minister of the Environment is satisfied that the living organism referred to in the annexed Order was, between January 1, 1984 and December 31, 1986, manufactured in or imported into Canada by a person and entered or was released into the environment without being subject to conditions under that Act or any other Act of Parliament or of the legislature of a province, meeting the requirements set out in subsection 105(1) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (see footnote b);

Therefore, the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to subsections 66(3) and 105(1) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (see footnote c), hereby makes the annexed Order 2011-66-02-01 Amending the Domestic Substances List.

ORDER 2011-66-02-01 AMENDING THE DOMESTIC SUBSTANCES LIST

AMENDMENTS

1. Part 1 of the Domestic Substances List (see footnote 1) is amended by adding the following in numerical order:

8049-17-0

2. (1) Part 3 of the List is amended by deleting the following:

11509-7

Poly(alkyl methacrylate/hydroxypropylacrylate/methyl methacrylate/n-octyl mercaptan/methacrylic acid/ 12-hydroxystearic acid/glycidyl methacrylate)

(2) Part 3 of the List is amended by adding the following in numerical order:

11509-7

2-Propenoic acid, 2-methyl-, polymer with alkyl 2-methyl-2-propenoate, 12-hydroxyoctadecanoic acid, methyl 2-methyl-2-propenoate, oxiranylmethyl 2-methyl-2-propenoate and 1,2-propanediol mono-2-propenoate

3. Part 5 of the List is amended by deleting the following under the heading “Organisms/Organismes”:

Bacillus atrophaeus

4. Part 7 of the List is amended by adding the following in numerical order:

18250-7

Bacillus species

 

Espèce bacillus

COMING INTO FORCE

5. This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
