Regulations Amending the Privacy Regulations

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 77(1)(d) of the Privacy Act (see footnote a), makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Privacy Regulations.

REGULATIONS AMENDING THE PRIVACY REGULATIONS

AMENDMENTS

1. Item 3 of Schedule II to the Privacy Regulations (see footnote 1) is replaced by the following:

3. Office of Controlled Substances, Healthy Environments and Consumer Safety Branch, Department of Health

2. Item 5 of Schedule II to the Regulations is repealed.

3. Items 7 and 8 of Schedule II to the Regulations are replaced by the following:

8. Clemency and Record Suspension Division, Parole Board of Canada

4. Items 9 to 9.2 of Schedule II to the Regulations are replaced by the following:

9. Integrity Operations Directorate, Integrity Services Branch, Department of Human Resources and Skills Development

5. Items 10.2 and 10.3 of Schedule II to the Regulations are replaced by the following:

10.3 Law Enforcement Branch, Parks Canada Agency

6. Items 11 and 12 of Schedule II to the Regulations are replaced by the following:

11. Personnel Security Service, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade

12. Preventive Security, Security Branch, Correctional Service of Canada

7. Item 15 of Schedule II to the Regulations is replaced by the following:

15. Security Bureau, Passport Canada, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade

8. Section 16 of Schedule II to the Regulations is repealed.

9. Item 1 of Schedule III to the Regulations is repealed.

10. Item 5 of Schedule III to the Regulations is replaced by the following:

5. Preventive Security, Security Branch, Correctional Service of Canada

11. Item 9 of Schedule III to the Regulations is repealed.

12. Item 2 of Schedule IV to the Regulations is replaced by the following:

2. Personnel Security Service, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade

13. Item 5 of Schedule IV to the Regulations is repealed.

COMING INTO FORCE

14. These Regulations come into force on the day on which they are registered.
