The Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Board (the “Board”) hereby gives notice of a call for submission of bids for four Exploration Licences covering those lands in the Nova Scotia offshore area described in Appendix I (the “Lands”).

This notice of Call for Bids No. NS14-1 is made pursuant to the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation Act, S.C. 1988, c. 28, as amended, and the Canada-Nova Scotia Offshore Petroleum Resources Accord Implementation (Nova Scotia) Act, S.N.S. 1987, c. 3, as amended (the “Legislation”).

The second issue is whether the normal values applied by the CBSA in its re-determination were determined in accordance with the provisions of SIMA and the Special Import Measures Regulations.

The Public Service Commission of Canada, pursuant to section 116 of the Public Service Employment Act, hereby gives notice that it has granted permission, pursuant to subsection 115(2) of the said Act, to Karolyne Pickett, Species at Risk Biologist (BI-3), Canadian Wildlife Service — Ontario, Department of the Environment, Toronto, Ontario, to be a candidate, before and during the election period, for the positions of Councillor, Ward 1, and Deputy Mayor for the City of Guelph, Ontario, in a municipal election to be held on October 27, 2014.
